This nesting solar system set is one of my favourite designs. The sun is hollow down the middle, so all nine planets fit snugly inside it - the whole solar system packs away into the sun and comes back out again. Each piece is hand sculpted from premium sheep's wool in my Ontario studio.

WHAT'S INCLUDED The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune Optional add-ons: Pluto, Eris, Ceres, Haumea (oval in shape) and Makemake. Every set ships in a hand stamped cotton muslin drawstring storage bag

SIZE The sun is approximately 10 inches in circumference and hollow down the middle so the planets nest inside. Jupiter is the largest planet in this set, roughly the size of a large grape. Mercury is about the size of a chick pea. The dwarf planets are tiny, about the size of large peas.

MATERIALS & CARE Premium sheep's wool and hand dyed wool roving. Spot clean only. Suitable for adult enthusiasts and older children - contains very small pieces. Not suitable for children under 3.

MADE TO ORDER No two sets are exactly alike; yours will be created just for you. Usually about two weeks. I'll send you photos of your finished set before it ships, and if I don't hear back within 3 days I'll send it along.
